I like the UltimateBet graphics the best. The table perspective is the most realistic because you're always seated closest to the bottom of the screen. The background image can be changed to plain black which I fond less distracting as well.

Are they a good place to play. I have only played at party poker and poker stars. Im tired of losing 4 of a king to the strait flush. Thats happened twice to me in 2 hours at party.

Ultimate Bet is the best. They run so smooth and seamless. The games are tougher than some sites. I have been playing Bodog, graphics suck but without a doubt the play is much softer than UB. I have turned several people on to UB and I have tried to get them to give the weak games at Bodog a chance but they all refuse to play anywhere but UB.

I also want to add something even though this is not the same thread. I have played at UB for a few years. I have never felt cheated. I have went on some bad runs but could always go back to my play or just a bad beat here and there. I qualified for a WPT event on UB and I have cashed out several times in the 2-3K range.

I have played on Bodog for just a few months. I have had some unreal success, cashed out with no problem every time. But I am currently on a ridiculously bad streak. It has only been about 22 hours long but I have never seen anything like it. I do not think Bodog is rigged but I can certainly see how it can seem that way to even the most reasonable player.

If I didn't learn how to play in a casino and play in a casino for over 14 years, I would think online poker is rigged. NO QUESTION. Many of todays players have only played online or with limited live play.

I will also add this, I am not 100% sure that it is not rigged on some sites. I am 99% sure it is not on UB. But I would not recommend UB because the play is above average. I am currently not on UB.

Just tried Ultimate bet on advice from this thread. It loses money just like the other 2. They do play like the wild wild west over there. I cant even see the flop without going in heavy. Will try Truepoker next.

Choptalk, if you want the softest games I'll list the sites in order from softest to toughest. I thought you only wanted an opinion on graphics.

Pacific. Terrible software and single table only, but the softest. Included for completeness only.
Party (and skins). Mediocre software but great games.
Prima network. Good software, good game selection; fairly soft games.
Cryptologic network. Mediocre software, mostly texas holdem, european schedule if you like playing in the afternoon.
Paradise. Used to be the toughest but no more; great game selection very good software.
UltimateBet. Best software, great game selection, tough (but beatable) opposition.
PokerStars. Great software, toughest games; great tournaments, second only to Party in size.

Except for Pacific, those are the ones at which I usually play. There are others like Doylesroom, Truepoker, and Absolute that I occasionally visit, but my schedule is pretty full. I'd play Doylesroom much more if they supported hand histories (and Pokertracker), and went to a 10-player full ring format. Truepoker is too slow for me, but otherwise fine. I have practically given up on Absolute.

I think PokerStars will continue to grow. As they do the games will get softer. Since the reload bonuses there never expire I always deposit enough to max them, and nibble away at them wneh I have nothing else to do.

I know Partypoker is ok. Bodog is ok also. But if you play for play money the people in party poker do not know how to bet, they bet like they are Bill Gates or something!! It's HORRIBLE!!!

"I do not think Bodog is rigged "

Try any of the big money tournys and i think you'll change your mind. i firmly believe mgmt has its own players in the game who have an unreal knack for calling big hands with nothing and winning on the river.....i play at 6-8 sites and nowhere have i seen such confidence that a guys 2-4os will be 2 pair by the river...

I have been by more people staying in with nothing and draw a hand by the river or luck out on the river with trash calling every raise along the way with nothing...

Bullshit I have never seen that much cra[ drawing ever when I play live....Most people would be long folded by then....
